DX12 or Vulkan next?

Give me good convincing reasons for each... So far I'm leaning toward DX first... I would target feature set 12_0 unless there is no reason to go that high since some 11_x is considered 12.
As for Vulkan it seems like the only reason for it is Linux. DXVK can still run the DX12 binaries and OpenGL isn't going away until I can find the time for Vulkan.

I've had comparability issues with Vulkan, but fixed the problem on both computers. So I could go with Vulkan instead.
I had to downgrade drivers on one computer. Somehow it had newer Intel drivers than Intel had on their website but there was no Vulkan support (vulkan-1.dll missing.)
On the other computer I got this weird hexagonal pattern on everything, mainly all you could see was hexagons. But it seems to work fine with Linux installed.
