Blobby, a New Game From Nooskewl

Our new game Blobby has just been released! The free version is almost the same as the full version, so there's no excuse not to give it a try right here!

There's a forum too. I hope to see some feedback and suggestions!

Thanks!

Monster RPG 2 2.0 Released

It's been about 3 years since the release of Monster RPG 2 1.0. So much has changed with the game. Today I'm happy to announce the 13th update, one of the biggest updates yet: such a big update that I deemed it worthy of being called version 2.0.

For a list of highlights in this version, see this blog post.

To get the game, go to the download page on www.monster-rpg.com. Most of the 3rd party sites are up-to-date, however at the time I'm writing this, 2.0 hasn't yet hit the Mac App Store or Ubuntu Software Center; those should come soon though!

Enjoy!

Bobby 1.7 available for Windows

This is another bugfix release of Bobby, this time for Windows. Bobby 1.6 required a patch to be applied to fix a taskbar bug. 1.7 includes this patch and some minor asset updates. Get it from the Bobby page.

Bobby for iOS bugfix release

I submitted a bugfix release of Bobby to Apple today. It only affects the iOS version. If you had audio issues (game starting with no music, and then only the menu track playing during the game,) look for an update on the App Store in the near future. I only noticed the issue on iPad (both iPad 1 and iPad 2.)

Another Minor M2/Raspberry Pi update

Seems like just yesterday we made a bugfix release for Monster RPG 2 on Raspberry Pi... oh wait, it was! Well this time we fixed keyboard input when the game is run at a console (i.e., not in X.) Previously keyboard input was lagged beyond playability unless the game was run under X. Enjoy!

Monster RPG 2 for Raspberry Pi bugfix update

A major show-stopping bug has been fixed in Monster RPG 2 for Raspberry Pi. The bug caused the game to crash immediately after starting in most cases where the user was using an HDMI monitor or had certain configuration options in /boot/config.txt commented out. If you ran into the bug yourself, please try the new update, available on www.monster-rpg.com.

First Stable Release of Mo2 for Raspberry Pi

I just finished play-testing a full game of Monster RPG 2 on Raspberry Pi. There were very few problems and I fixed all that I found, so here is the first stable release (1.12.1.) Enjoy!
